Where Our Bread Begins

Our journey begins in Bavaria, at Aichermühle, a historic family-run flour mill nestled near Grabenstätt in the Chiemgau region of southern Germany. For centuries, this mill has transformed locally grown grain into flour, once powered by water and today guided by a careful balance of traditional milling knowledge and modern precision.

Aichermühle works closely with regional farmers, selecting wheat and rye grown in the surrounding countryside. This close connection to the land ensures freshness, traceability, and strict quality control-while supporting sustainable, environmentally conscious farming practices. Each grain is milled with respect, preserving its natural character and baking strength.
