Recipe of the month: Partybread

Completely in the tradition of German Schnittchen, you can find here our recipe for Partybread, a nice and easy fingerfood for all opportunities. Either for a quick snack with friends or as a littler diner with  a fresh salad by the side, our Partybread guarantees a delicious meal, ready in a short time:

1 complete bread, according to your taste (approx. 500 – 600 gr)

300 gr. Leerdamer or cheese according to your taste, also mixed cheese is possible

60 ml Olive oil

2 cloves of garlic

Herbes like parsley, basil, chives

First, prepare the herbal oil with the olive oil and finely chopped herbes. It should be a thick herbal oil. Then cut the bread with a bread knife. The bread should not be cut all the way through. The bottom inch should be left untouched to keep the bread from falling apart.

Then cut the cheese in slices of about 2 – 3 mm, place them in the gaps between the bread. Fill all columns with cheese and add some herb oil to each column.

Place the bread in an oven dish and give it then to the preheated grill or oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
